Natural Remedies for Burns - Aloe Vera Treatment

Aloe Vera is the most well known of the natural remedies for burns and for good reason.  The gel from the aloe vera leaf heals burns and fights the bacteria that cause infection.  It also provides significant pain relief from burns.  The vitamin C, E and lavender essential oils in this treatment encourage healing and preserve the aloe gel.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup peeled, sliced aloe leaf
1,000 milligrams of powdered vitamin C
800 IU vitamin E oil
1 teaspoon lavender essential oil

Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly.
Store in the refrigerator and apply to burns several times per day, as needed.

This one of the best natural remedies for burns I have ever found.  It lasts for two months in the refrigerator and I usually keep some on hand at all times.  It's also a great way to use your aloe vera plant.
